Re: Update extension proposal for HTML 5.x

Placeholder and validation are being used by virtually every single Web
developer. This is not the case for QR codes - at least not yet.

Is anyone else on the list interested to standardize native QR code
rendering in the browser - in particular is there support by browser
developers and other implementers?
