Gentlebeings, I’ve just rejoined the HTML WG and wanted to send a note with a brief intro and try to begin to find ways that I can contribute. I was on the call today and last week; I’m just lurking for the moment and trying to catch up. I’m hoping to attend the TPAC in Lyon as well, and hope to meet many of you there. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with HTML since 1992 and was a member of this WG for 10 years, from 1996 until about 2006. I’ve been a member of fourteen W3C Working groups over the years, including XML core, HTML, WS-Arch, WS-Choreography and a lot of others. (Does anyone remember SMIL?) I’m also the lead author of the existing XHTML modularization spec, which I think was the last Rec produced by this WG. It’s great to be back and please let me know what I can do to help with our current efforts. Regards, D- Sent from my iPhone
