I've updated the change proposal for ISSUE-195 form-http-req: http://www.w3.org/wiki/User:Cjones/ISSUE-195 The changes include the addition of a "use cases" section to the rationale which documents the high level use cases. I've dropped the inclusion of the "async" form attribute, the reasoning for this is because the reliance on javascript is orthogonal to the primary use cases which detracts from the overall strength of the proposal. The benefits of the attribute are a valuable addition, but non-essential, so i'll move this work into HTML.next The proposal is submitted as a candidate ready to proceed to survey.
