hi all, While I have withdrawn the proposal [1] to replace the <hgroup> element with a <subline> element, if the situation arises that a zero change proposal is put forward as a result of a call for consensus on the remaining change proposal [2] I intend to reintroduce my proposal. Due to the above I ask that interested people read and provide feedback on my proposal, as from limited discussion in the HTML WG F2F meeting, there is some perception that the proposed new element is no different from <hgroup>. I believe that this perception is incorrect. I suggest people read the spec text for the new element I have proposed, to gain a better understanding of what I am proposing http://www.html5accessibility.com/tests/subline.html [1] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/hgroup [2] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/dropHgroup -- with regards Steve Faulkner Technical Director - TPG www.paciellogroup.com | www.HTML5accessibility.com | www.twitter.com/stevefaulkner HTML5: Techniques for providing useful text alternatives - dev.w3.org/html5/alt-techniques/ Web Accessibility Toolbar - www.paciellogroup.com/resources/wat-ie-about.html
