The WG Chairs have received several requests for a further delay in starting the survey on ISSUE-152 to permit WG members to consolidate and/or improve the change proposals for this issue. The WG Chairs have evaluated these requests and have decided to use the following schedule for the ISSUE-152 survey and to get the HTML5 specifications to Last Call. This schedule gives WG members an additional three weeks until Apr 22 to complete their work on ISSUE-152. One of the reasons we have extended the survey date by three weeks instead of a shorter period is because Ian Hickson is involved in BOTH the ISSUE-152 work AND in implementing the other WG Decisions between now and Apr 22. The following is a detailed ISSUE-152 survey and Last Call schedule: 1. Tue Apr 5: all surveys except Issue-152 are closed 2. Apr 22: All WG decisions implemented by Editors except Issue-152 3. Apr 22: Change proposals modified and/or consolidated for ISSUE-152 4. Apr 22 -May 8 : WG reviews Apr 22 Editor's drafts 5. Apr 22-29: Survey on Issue-152 6. Apr 28-May 4: Survey on HTML5 license 7. May 8: WG decision on Issue-152 implemented 8. May 8-15: WG reviews May 8 Editor's drafts 9. May 15-22: WG survey on Last Call based on May 8 Editor's draft 10. May 22: WG decision on Last Call survey 11. May 24: Actual publication of LC WD's Please let us know if any has questions about this decision and/or the proposed schedule. /paulc Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
