http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13331 Summary: The non-normative reference HTML: The Markup Language is out of sync with the HTML5 WG documents. Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec author view AssignedTo: mike@w3.org ReportedBy: ubermichael@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org The description of the scope attribute on a th element in http://www.w3.org/TR/html-markup/th.html#th.attrs.scope does not mention "auto" as the missing value default of the @scope attribute on a <th> element, which is documented in http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/tabular-data.html#attr-th-scope. In searching for documentation for @scope Google returned search results for html-markup first rather than the HTML5 draft spec. This has caused confusion. The html-markup document should be updated to reflect the default value of @scope. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
