The chairs have discussed this and the only delay is that there is no 
clear identification of what is the new information[1] in this request. 
  If you or others could provide this, that would speed up the process; 
otherwise the chairs will get to it in due course.

Concurrently, we are working on Bug 11447[2] in order to clarify this
