http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=11938 Summary: Progress element value IDL attribute default value should be -1 instead of 0 Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: mounir.lamouri@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org Currently "current value" [1] default value is -1 but value IDL attribute default value when the element is in the indeterminate state is 0. Having two default values seems really confusing. The value IDL attribute should return 0 when the progress element is in the indeterminate state.
