A "heading" pseudo-selector has been proposed: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2008Nov/0453.html In the interim, authors might use "class" to fill the gap. That's not to say that the WG wouldn't look favorably on alternative solutions that solve the problem *and* work with today's selectors. -- Benjamin Hawkes-Lewis
