I won't comment on the portions of the email which deal with the appeal as that's in the capable hands of the W3C staff at this point. I would like to discourage further discussion about the process on this mailing list as the W3C staff are well aware of their responsibilities. I'll note that these are not mutually exclusive actions. If you have new facts to bring forward, you may do so at any time. Should you do so, I would encourage you to explain you believe that these facts are relevant to ISSUE-30, and explain why this information was not available at the time of the decision. Ideally, these facts should be specific and be accompanied by supporting evidence. This doesn't have to be stated as an appeal; just information. - Sam Ruby
