Something along these lines would be better.

This provides an image so at least those who don't have and can't
install the plugin can get an idea of what it would look like. The link
to the plugin is still provided, as it would still be useful to those
capable of installing it, but offering it as a way to enhance the
experience is much more friendly than saying users must install it.
I realise the alt text isn't the most useful, but without any other
context or knowledge of what the 3D scene does, or what it's for, coming
up with optimal alt text is difficult.
