Summary: Please be explicit about inheritance of scripting flag
when setting innerHTML
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Spec bugs
AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
ReportedBy: hsivonen@iki.fi
QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org
Please call out explicitly whether the scripting enabled flag is set to true
when the innerHTML setter runs even though the scripts aren't actually
executed.
It seems that Firefox, IE8 and Opera 10 set it to true and WebKit sets it to
false.
