The HTML Working Group will have a two-day face-to-face meeting on October 23 and 24 during the W3C TPAC, which will be held at the Pullman Cannes Mandelieu Royal Casino, in Mandelieu, France. To register for the overall TPAC and for the parts of it you will attend, please complete the following form: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35125/TPAC2008/ Registration for the meeting closes on September 28. Please also complete the following HTML WG-specific survey: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/40318/2008-tpac-room-sharing/ Note that attendance at the Technical Plenary (Wednesday, October 22) is also open to all WG members. So consider attending that in addition to the HTML WG face-to-face meeting. The schedule for the overall event is here: http://www.w3.org/2008/10/TPAC/Schedule.html Additional details are here: http://www.w3.org/2008/10/TPAC/Overview.html A block of rooms has been reserved at the Pullman Cannes Mandelieu Royal Casino. The discounted room rates of 195 euros or single room and 225 euros for a double room are available from Saturday 18 October to Saturday 25 October 2008: http://www.w3.org/2008/10/TPAC/Overview.html#Hotel Those rates are available if you book your hotel room before September 8. The W3C has reserved all the meeting space available at the hotel, but in order to ensure that reservation and to avoid additional charges for meeting rooms, it's necessary to meet a quota on guest-room bookings set by the hotel. So you are strongly encouraged to consider booking your room at the Pullman rather than at another hotel. For those who are willing to consider room sharing, use the HTML WG-specific survey mentioned above to note your interest in the possibility of sharing a room: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/40318/2008-tpac-room-sharing/ Thanks, --Mike -- Michael(tm) Smith http://people.w3.org/mike/ http://sideshowbarker.net/
