FYI: "This is the 15 April 2008 Last Call Working Draft of The XMLHttpRequest Object specification. Please send comments to public-webapi@w3.org (archived) with either [XHR] or [XMLHttpRequest] at the start of the subject line before befor 2 June 2008." http://www.w3.org/TR/XMLHttpRequest/ http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-XMLHttpRequest-20080415/ If the HTML WG as a group had sent any comments on the XHR spec, now would be the time to double-check that they're addressed to our satisfaction. But we haven't. It would be nice if we positively affirm, as a group, that the 15 Apr XHR draft looks good to us, but I'm not sure that's cost-effective. Anyone who feels differently, just say so. I looked at the archive of feedback and it looks to me like the spec is getting pretty thorough review by individuals including review by individuals quite familiar with HTML 5. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapi/2008Apr/thread.html -- Dan Connolly, W3C http://www.w3.org/People/Connolly/ gpg D3C2 887B 0F92 6005 C541 0875 0F91 96DE 6E52 C29E
