The Chairs have done the transition request. There has been an initial
meeting with the director.

scribe: there has been some pushback and we are waiting the usual time. But
expect publication next week as CR.

The chairs have sent the transition request to the director. Some people
are on holiday so we may not see a response until next week.

After scheduling there will be a transition meeting.

Second item: WG Decision: publish "srcset attribute" extension spec as a WG

There is nothing holding this up. Trying to find a team contact to get this

Discussed this recently at the A11Y task force call. Resource challenged
but expect it to happen in two weeks (August 21).

There is no big rush right now. There were two formal objections about the
material, but since the items are now notes the objector has withdrawn the
objections.

The next step will be a transition to PR. Chairs are working on transition
request.
