chrisn has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/encrypted-media: == Update "fire a simple event" == The EME spec refers to "fire a simple event" in a couple of places. This was in older versions of [HTML](https://www.w3.org/TR/2014/REC-html5-20141028/webappapis.html#event-firing), but isn't in the current [DOM spec](https://dom.spec.whatwg.org/#firing-events), so EME needs updating.
