Call for MSE V2 and EME V2 Use Cases and Requirements

As we reach the end game for our technical work and interoperability testing on MSE V1 and EME V1 it is time to start collecting together use cases and requirements for MSE V2 and EME V2.   To facilitate discussion of V2 use cases and requirements please use the following two Wiki pages:

These pages currently link to previous use cases not met by V1 and to the GitHub issues that were marked as "feature requests" or deferred to VNext during completion of the V1 specifications.

Please use these Wiki pages to add any new proposed Use Cases and Requirements that you want solved in MSE V2 or EME V2.  Please feel free to explicitly add any of the V1 "feature requests" and deferred VNext issues to the Wiki page(s) with further information that motivates why the additional feature should be handled in V2 of the appropriate specification.

We will discuss the proposed MSE V2 and EME V2 Use Cases and Requirements and a timeline for the V2 specifications at a F2F meeting of the HTML Media Extensions WG on Mon and Tue Sep 19-20 [1] in Lisbon, Portugal during the W3C Technical Plenary week.
