> Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Tuesday April 19, this resolution will carry. Since we did not received any objections to this CfC, this CfC passes. Since the CfC on switching to the new W3C Process also passed, we will now republish the MSE CR with SourceBuffer.appendStream() method [2] marked as being "at risk" [3]. /paulc HME WG Chair Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 -----Original Message----- From: Paul Cotton [mailto:Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 12, 2016 9:58 PM To: public-html-media@w3.org Subject: CfC: Republish MSE CR with SourceBuffer.appendStream() method marked 'at risk' The HTML Media Extensions WG is issuing a Call for Consensus to republish the MSE Candidate Recommendation [1] with the SourceBuffer.appendStream() method [2] marked as being "at risk" [3]. The revised CR document to be published will be based on the current MSE Editor's Draft [4] with an updated Status of This Document (SOTD) to indicate this item is "at risk". The status of the usage of SourceBuffer.appendStream() method [2] is documented in MSE ISSUE-14 [5]. Success of this CfC is dependent on approval of the companion CfC which requests moving the MSE and EME specifications to the new W3C Process [6]. Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Tuesday April 19, this resolution will carry. /paulc HTML Media Extensions WG Chair [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2015/CR-media-source-20151112/ [2] http://w3c.github.io/media-source/#methods-1 [3] http://www.w3.org/2015/Process-20150901/#candidate-rec [4] http://w3c.github.io/media-source/ [5] https://github.com/w3c/media-source/issues/14 [6] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-media/2016Apr/0010.html Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
