Re: [MSE] Liaison with DASH Industry Forum

This is FYI. I am passing along this liaison information we received at the IG to the folks working on MSE since the DASH-IF work might possibly be a source for MSE test development. I’m not involved with DASH-IF personally, so I can’t speak to the specifics or applicability of what they’ve made available.

Thanks,
mav

Is this item for information only or should it be discussed at a Media TF meeting (possibly at the F2F meeting in Santa Clara)?

Subject: Liaison with DASH Industry Forum

Hi group,

FYI, we got an application for liaison with the Web and TV from
DASH Industry Forum, and an entry for that has been added to
the W3C Liaison table at:
 http://www.w3.org/2001/11/StdLiaison#dashif

Also attached please find a copy of their liaison letter, outlining the current DASH-IF activities and outputs. This document demonstrates some of their
work items. They welcome our feedback on any of those topics and would
like our opinions if any.

Thanks,

Kazuyuki
