I will not be able to attend the meeting on June 24th, but here is a quick
MSE status update.
1. I've just published a new version of the spec with all oustanding bugs
except Bug 25581 <https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25581>
resolved.
2. I believe Sam & Paul will be having a meeting with the director to
figure out how to handle the registry and byte stream format specs.
Resolving Bug 25581 <https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25581> is
blocked on that.
3. I uploaded updates to my MSE test submission
<https://critic.hoppipolla.co.uk/r/951>, but it doesn't look like they have
been reviewed by anyone yet.
- It appears krisk@ needs to do something to resolve the issues I've
replied to.
- I still have 2 minor comments from Simon Pieters I still need to address
and hope to do so in my next update.
- Jer Noble pointed out to me that the MP4 files don't actually conform to
the requirements in the ISOBMFF byte stream format spec so I'll need to fix
that as well.
4. We should probably think about a heartbeat update since it has been 5-6
months since CR and quite a few changes have occurred since then. I'm not
sure what the process is here.
