Bug ID: 22110
Summary: Javascript decoding data
Classification: Unclassified
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Media Source Extensions
Assignee: adrianba@microsoft.com
Reporter: cyril.concolato@telecom-paristech.fr
QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-media@w3.org
The current spec indicates the following in a NOTE:
"If the JavaScript code fetching media data has problems parsing the data it
should use this status code to terminate playback."
It is unclear, why/when the JavaScript layer would have to parse the data.
Please clarify the usage, for instance by providing an example.
