Dear sirs, FSF and others have already made very valid points [1]. I am just a normal user and hardly have any technical know-how. Nor am I as forward thinking as FSF et al. But it seems to me that DRM was a bad idea when it was removed from music media. What is the difference now? The music industry seems to be doing just fine without DRM and EME. As a follow up, if this goes forward would it mean we will regress back to DRM in music? I have other maybe naïve questions. But will leave them for different subject. Kind regards, Andrés Muñiz-Piniella [1] https://www.defectivebydesign.org/stepping-it-up-against-the-hollyweb PS: I do not like to nay say without offering possible alternatives. This video might be an idea of alternatives: https://www.ted.com/talks/johanna_blakley_lessons_from_fashion_s_free_culture.html (I was able to view with abrowser).
