https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=20327 Bug ID: 20327 Summary: Continuous splice flag Classification: Unclassified Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Windows 3.1 Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Media Source Extensions Assignee: adrianba@microsoft.com Reporter: pal@sandflow.com QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-media@w3.org Depends on: 19673 Implementation behavior at a splice point between two Media Segments may depend on whether the contents of the two Media Segments are identical around the splice points, i.e. whether they were intended to be spliced. For instance, if the two Media Segments are identical around a splice point, then the implementation can avoid applying additional processing such as cross-fades. A continuousSplice boolean attribute could be added to SourceBuffer interface. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
