Duncan and Media Group,

I volunteered to champion definition of a MPEG-2 TS segment format for the Media Source Extension group. I think the deliverable for this would be a proposal for a new section in http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-media/raw-file/tip/media-source/media-source.html#byte-stream-formats 6.3 MPEG-2 TS Byte Streams. Anyone disagree with this?

I am planning to work off-line from this list with interested parties to create this proposal then bring it to the group. Duncan, you were identified on the call today as initially identifying the need for this. Do you want to work on this? Is there anyone else in the media sub-group that wants to work on the initial proposal?
