Re: html5 last call 投票结果

表决之后统统进入last call,

反对声音比较大(也不大)的是属于HTML/XML compatibility 和HTML  
alternative text,反对者觉得两者属于指引性质 (guideline) 文档不应该植入 
recommendation track。毕竟recommended文档是属于实践性质,比如浏览器支不 
支持某个需求(normative requirement),而这两个文档更属于教材性质,也就 
是W3C的note track。

HTML/XML 兼容文档里也说道

“ This specification is intended to be used by web authors. It is not  
a specification for user agents and creates no obligations on user  
agents. Note that this recommendation does not define how HTML5- 
conforming user agents should process HTML documents. Nor does it  
define the meaning of the Internet Media Type text/html. ”[1]

文档更属于让程序员参考,不是浏览器。总结就是反对者希望他是note track附属 
在html正式文档下。苹果的Maciej提到还是会让文档进入last call,是不是note  
track 并没有冲突。类似的。[2]

HTML5主文档投NO的主要关注longdesc,至于RDFa,感觉上发表的几位大大都觉得 
RDFa介绍入HTML(parsing)把东西搞得太复杂,还有RDFa和microdata的关系没有离 
清。这是否是意味着对RDFa兴趣不大?maybe, I don't know.
