Microdata published as a W3C Note instead of a W3C Rec

Further to certain objections raised by Manu Sporny, I too, am in agreement that the Microdata spec should not become a candidate for recommendation. The RDFa specs cover all valuable use cases and provides a clear and comprehensive set of guidelines for developers. Equally they support and align with other emerging standards from the W3C.
