I wouldn't worry about that — either there's content relying on that and it
won't get removed, or there isn't content relying on XSLT anywhere on the big
wide Web and what's in the spec won't change that. So that should definitely
not be a concern.

Well if it's not much work, rest assured that we accept patches :) Can you
answer all the questions in comment #8 and those that stem from there?

You'll note that the other bug which you're quoting was reopened (with good
reason).
