Summary: The wrap attribute lacks the value "off", which is
consistently supported by major browsers and
corresponds to the old default behavior, which is
still reflected in the HTML 4.01 Recommendation.

Comment:
The wrap attribute lacks the value "off", which is consistently supported by
major browsers and corresponds to the old default behavior, which is still
reflected in the HTML 4.01 Recommendation. Please add it and modify the
definition of "soft" accordingly. Non-wrapping behavior cannot be
satisfactorily achieved with CSS, and this more about UI behavior (breaking
user input to lines) than mere styling.
