Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: I've no idea which example you are referring to. Could you be more
specific? There's an example in the <samp> element section with a command-line
prompt, but it does use $. Do you mean the <pre> element example of Zork? If
so, that's just the way Zork I worked, it would be a bit weird to change what
the example says to not match the source material!
