http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=10450 Rich Schwerdtfeger <schwer@us.ibm.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |schwer@us.ibm.com --- Comment #16 from Rich Schwerdtfeger <schwer@us.ibm.com> 2010-10-13 20:29:27 UTC --- The ARIA is a cross cutting technology specification. We provided an example applying role="presentation" to tables but we are not going to modify the ARIA specification for every element in a host language that comes into question. The ARIA specification would be enormous. The ARIA specification is clear enough and does not require us to enumerate every HTML element it applies to. Clearly, there are more than enough use cases for it. But to answer Ian's point it does apply to lists. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
