For instance, if it's a title card for a video series. In such a case the title of the video might be: "Law of Gravitation" The poster image for such a video may contain actual textual information that is displayed before the video is played, especially helpful if the video is to be embedded on a remote site where the surrounding content is not enough context to describe the video further.
