Summary: Missing Typographic Convention - Switch Construct
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
ReportedBy: glenn@skynav.com

The "switch" construct first appearing in 2.4 UTF-8 is not previously
introduced, e.g., in 1.7.2 Typographic Conventions. For clarity, it should be
described before being used, as it is not obvious from a linear reading how to
interpret the information in 2.4.
Regards,
Glenn
