http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=11223 Summary: New standard format for coding breadcrumbs (rel="up up up") makes it hard for XSLT parsing Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: laurent.goderre@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org Parsing the value of the up relationship is difficult with the multiple words. If trying to build breadcrumbs from a list of <link rel="up[...]> is hard and requires recursion and looping. A simple syntax like "up;3" that would define the up relationship and the depth instead of "up up up" would be much simple to parse. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
