[Bug 9164] If maxWidth = 0, repeatedly choosing smaller font sizes will never result in a zero-width piece of text, so steps 3-4 loop infinitely; there should be some way to e.g. abort and draw nothing if maxWidth is too small. [pt]

Rationale: If maxWidth=0, then font size 0 is the only solution, but it is
still a valid solution, and the algorithm would terminate.
