http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=9280 Summary: Add default button option/attribute for forms Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec proposals AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org ReportedBy: jon.avila@ssbbartgroup.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org Please consider adding a default button option/attribute for forms. I believe this would simplify a lot of form interaction for users of assistive technology and users who rely off of the keyboard alone. Currently different browsers handle this differently and there is no specific method for assigning which button will be activated when enter is pressed in a form field other than a button that works across browsers. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
