A couple points:

   * Many authors may not be sure what "closed captions" are, so this analogy
may be lost on them. I recommend using more straightforward language.

   * One of the contributing factors to the "longdesc" lottery is authors
inserting text rather than a URI as a value, perhaps under the influence of
"alt". Including "href" in the attribute name might help reduce the frequency
of such errors.
