[Bug 7154] icon attribute: We can't apply so-called "CSS Sprite" technique for command icons. We need another attribute to specify clip position and size.

I think the solution to this is going to have to be a fragment identifier
syntax that can directly clip from the image. This would be useful in many
other contexts also.

However, that's out of scope of HTML5, so I'm marking it WONTFIX for here. I
encourage you to take this up on one of the relevant lists; maybe uri@w3.org
might be able to point you in the right direction.
