> Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Monday June 15, this resolution will carry. Since we did not receive any objections to this CfC, this CfC passes. The revised Last Call specification will now be published. /paulc HTML WG co-chair Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 From: Paul Cotton [mailto:Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com] Sent: Monday, June 08, 2015 9:17 PM To: public-html-admin@w3.org Cc: Edward O'Connor; Boris Zbarsky; Robin Berjon (robin@w3.org) Subject: CfC: Return DOM4 to Last Call The HTML Chairs are issuing a Call for Consensus to return DOM4 to Last Call. The document can be found here: http://w3c.github.io/dom/LC-20150616.html Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Monday June 15, this resolution will carry. The proposed Last Call Working Draft states: Note that if this Last Call is successful this specification will skip Candidate Recommendation and go directly to Proposed Recommendation. In addition the Last Call Working draft states: Implementers should take heed of the bugs list in general, but more particularly of these two bugs that adversely affect interoperability (most particularly of the Document interface): * https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19431 * https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=22960 Note that this CfC replaces the previous one which failed due to it including non-interoperable features [1]. /paulc on behalf of the HTML WG co-chairs [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-admin/2015May/0034.html Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
