TF Decision Re: Call for consensus - longdesc to CR

Colleagues:

This email sets out the Task Force decision on the CfC to advance the
Image Description Extension specification to Candidate Recommendation
(CR) status [1], with corrected date [2], and as extended with corrected
content and a corrected link. [3].

This CfC received multiple supporting responses. It also received one
objection [4] which contained no new information and which was,
therefore, not accepted on that basis [5].

This Call for Consensus (CfC) is agreed as a decision of the HTML-A11Y
Task Force.

The HTML-WG and PFWG are now requested to conduct their individual calls
for consensus on advancing the Image Description Extension specification
available at:

Regards,

Janina Sajka, for the Task Force Facilitators
