Accept with minor corrections Typo. close the h2

Image foo.png</2>
Description of the image...

informative section " In such cases, it is appropriate to use longdesc as a fallback strategy, in combination with more modern techniques." Makes longdesc sound old... I know it is, but perhaps it would be better to say something like: "In combination with other techniques that may be more appropriate in certain contexts" Cheers, David MacDonald *Can**Adapt* *Solutions Inc.* Tel: 613.235.4902 LinkedIn <http://www.linkedin.com/in/davidmacdonald100> www.Can-Adapt.com * Adapting the web to all users* * Including those with disabilities* If you are not the intended recipient, please review our privacy policy <http://www.davidmacd.com/disclaimer.html> On Fri, Jun 13, 2014 at 3:30 PM, Charles McCathie Nevile < chaals@yandex-team.ru> wrote: > This is a call for consensus on the following proposition: > > The HTML Accessibility Task Force requests that the HTML Working Group, > with agreement of the PF Working Group, request publication of the HTML > Image Description Extension (longdesc) version at > https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-proposals/raw-file/ac507017569f/longdesc1/ > longdesc.html as a Candidate Recommendation. > > Positive response is preferred although silence will be considered assent. > Replies should be posted in this email thread before midnight Hawaii time > on Friday 20th July. > > Thanks to all for all their work on this, especially Mark over the last > few months. > > chaals, for the TF coordinators > > -- > Charles McCathie Nevile - web standards - CTO Office, Yandex > chaals@yandex-team.ru Find more at http://yandex.com > > >
