Hi, resolutions of the following bugs are outstanding: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21987 - provide a sister attribute to note the presence of longdesc, e.g. to enable discovery. PROPOSED RESOLUTION: Reject. The use cases can trivially be met by looking for the presence of the longdesc attribute itself https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21894 - define longdesc like cite instead of as a link PROPOSED RESOLUTION: Reject. This seems to be buying into a pile of unnecessary complication, doesn't seem motivated by any use case, and apparently assumes decisions that are contrary to those taken by the TF. https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21988 - update URL definition to a link that works PROPOSED RESOLUTION: Fixed. This will be done in the editor's draft that gets out some time tonight. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathie Nevile - Consultant (web standards) CTO Office, Yandex chaals@yandex-team.ru Find more at http://yandex.com
