I think it would make sense to run a CfC in the TF. Formally, they should be handling it as an accessibility spec. I see no reason two CfCs cannot occur in parallel. If we are surprised and the TF is less keen than HTML WG we will figure out what to do, but otherwise we can save worrying if that doesn't happen. Unless Janina chimes in otherwise... cheers Chaals > Meanwhile, the request has already gathered support: > > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Nov/0001.html > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Nov/0150.html > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Nov/0152.html > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Nov/0162.html > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Nov/0164.html > > - Sam Ruby > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: request to publish 'Using ARIA in HTML' as a FPWD > Date: Wed, 31 Oct 2012 11:13:13 +0100 > From: Steve Faulkner <faulkner.steve@gmail.com> > To: HTMLWG WG <public-html@w3.org> > CC: Paul Cotton <Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com>, Sam Ruby > <rubys@intertwingly.net>, Maciej Stachowiak <mjs@apple.com>, Michael > Smith <mike@w3.org>, Philippe Le Hégaret <plh@w3.org> > > > > Hi all, > > I am requesting the WG consider publication of Using ARIA in HTML as a > FPWD, it is intended that the document will be become a W3C note > > 'Using ARIA in HTML' > http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/aria-unofficial/raw-file/tip/index.html > > "This document is intended as a practical guide for developers.
