Hi Janina, Both http://www.d.umn.edu/~lcarlson/research/ld-spec-text2.html and http://www.d.umn.edu/~lcarlson/research/ld-rendering2.html are a key parts of the Details section of the InstateLongdesc Change Proposal as they provide the main spec changes for: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/InstateLongdesc#Main_Spec_Changes: They have both have been stablized documents for a week now.
