Issue 9: Video Accessibilty [was Issue 142: Video Poster]

Hi John and all,

That's fine if you would like the bugs considered after Last Call.
October 1, 2010 was the "cutoff for bugs to be considered as pre-LC
feedback. Consequence of missing this date: bugs beyond this date will
be treated as Last Call comments. The Chairs could grant exceptions on
a case-by-case basis, but in general there is no guarantee of a bug
filed after the cutoff being settled before Last Call." [1]

John do you consider that all of the media problems are addressed by
bugs filed before October 1?

I would be delighted to be wrong on this but I suspect that solutions
based on the media team's requirement documents will not magically
appear from the editor or the from the HTML working group. If any
requirements have not been satisfactory addressed by the spec, I would
suggest you or the media team write change proposals to rectify the
situation. change proposals provide the best chance to affect change.

As HTML-ISSUE-9 video-accessibility [2] predates the decision process,
filing bugs for it is not required. The media team, you, or any
working group member for that matter can submit Change Proposals to
help solve issue 9. If you want a chance to get any lacking media
requirements addressed and settled before Last Call, I would recommend
writing change proposals.

Best Regards,
Laura
