Friends, Based upon feedback from the earlier Straw Poll on Media Accessibility Requirements (http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements), members of the sub-group have hopefully addressed questions and concerns that were articulated at that time. We will be providing this feedback in 2 batches (this being the second batch) and ask that if you had any questions or concerns the first time to review the responses and comments provided. Deadline for comments is Thursday, July 8th at Midnight Boston; comments should be forwarded directly to this list. It is imperative that we complete this Requirements Document as quickly as possible so that we can continue to move forward with ensuring accessible media in HTML5. Your time and effort in reviewing these final clarifications is appreciated, and I thank you all in advance for taking the time to do so. The format is: Section Title [link] responses/clarifications [link] original wiki page requirements [link] straw poll results The second batch are: Sec. 2.6 Captioning http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0016.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Captio ning http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 7 Sec. 2.7 Extended Captioning http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0014.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Extend ed_Captioning http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 8 Sec. 3.1 Keyboard Access to Interactive Controls http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0015.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Keyboa rd_Access_to_interactive_controls_.2F_menus http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 12 Sec. 3.5 Discovery and activation/deactivation of available alternative content by the user. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0008.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Discov ery_and_activation.2Fdeactivation_of_available_alternative_content_by_the_ user http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 15 Sec. 3.6 Requirements on making properties available to the accessibility interface http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0009.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Requir ements_on_making_properties_available_to_the_accessibility_interface http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 16 Sec. 3.7 Requirements on the use of the viewport http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0013.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Requir ements_on_the_use_of_the_viewport http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 17 Sec. 3.8 Requirements on the parallel use of alternate content on potentially multiple devices in parallel http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2010Jul/0010.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/Media_Accessibility_Requirements#Requir ements_on_the_parallel_use_of_alternate_content_on_potentially_multiple_de vices_in_parallel http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20080526_media-requirements/results#xq 18 Thank you again.
