A survey is ready on a draft change proposal involving the summary attribute and the details element: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20100225_summary/ There are a few specific questions to get group opinion, and then an omnibus question on whether to send the change proposal on to the HTML WG as a decision of the task force. Links to relevant documents are available from the survey questions. To be clear on how this survey works (because questions were raised on the previous one) - only members of the HTML Accessibility Task Force can complete this survey. It is only a straw poll of the members of this task force. However, the results are publicly visible. To view results of this or any W3C Web-based survey, append the string "results" to the survey URL, e.g., http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/20100225_summary/results.
