Hi folks, in his introduction Jason pointed out, quite reasonably, that he is the author of a book that you can buy. I don't have any issue with people saying things like this, and I suggest that somewhere on the Wiki we collect a list of such resources along with prices. Anyone who logs into the Wiki can also set up a page saying who they are and what they do - again, without going over the top, a simple pointer to your business stuff is perfectly appropriate. After all, people who use a brand-name email address are already advertising. And knowing who is in the group and what they actually do and know about isn't a bad thing. I wonder if we need to set up a page to point to people's profiles, or if we should just rely on people finding the most prolific wiki editors and going to their page (my hunch is to rely on the latter…) On the other hand, if people start using the list for serious advertising I'll be far less tolerant :) We're in this group to get work done to improve the ecosystem that many of us rely on (admittedly in some cases to sell advertising services), not to sell stuff to each other. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathie Nevile - Consultant (web standards) CTO Office, Yandex chaals@yandex-team.ru Find more at http://yandex.com
