All, We (Google, with input from Mozilla - greatly appreciated) have just published our position paper: *Directly ingest SPIR-V, and not a human-writable shading language*. It includes the promise ANGLE bug list arguing against human-writable languages. https://github.com/gpuweb/gpuweb/issues/44 Feedback is appreciated (let's keep it on the GitHub issue where possible, so we don't fork the thread). Since we plan to discuss shading languages at *this Wednesday's meeting (Jan 3)*, it would be ideal if everyone could take a look before then. Thanks! -Kai
