Tribute to George

Hi all,
The passing of a friend & advocate of open data, George Thomas, was beautifully described in an article prepared by one of our own, John Breslin.  Thank you John.[1] 

To those of you working on cancer research, it cannot come quickly enough.  To those of us working to improve sharing human health & scientific research and knowledge management, keep up the good fight.  

To those executives who give air cover to smart people like George to explore and implement efficient ways to share information, please keep up the support -- it matters more than you know.

Our thoughts are with George's family and his dedicated wife Suzanne who stayed by George through his long journey.
