Sorry I couldn't participate. Reading the minutes, re: discussion of my earlier point (copied here):

It seems to me that representationTechnique acts as a note to dcterms:format. In that case, maybe "formatNote" would be less horrible (in Phil's words :) than "representationTechnique".
